A RESOLUTION GRANTING PERMISSION To PAUL S. MILLER,
AND AUTHORIZING CONSTRUCTION OF ONE (1) TEMPORARY
CONCRETE DRIVEWAY IRRESPECTIVE OF A LATTER OFFICIAL
GRADE.
RE IT RESOLVED nY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That,
WHEREAS, Paul S. "Miller has made written application to the City
Council asking that he he authorized and permitted to construct one (1 )
temporary concrete driveway without respect to a permanent sidewalk
grade when and if the same may he subsequently set on Clyde Miller
Heicihts in Castle Hill Waterloo, Lot P, Rlk. 2, part of Lot 9, Blk.
Corn. on S line Lot 9, 20 ft. W of SE corner of the easterly 20 ft. toy SE
corner, thence N to NE corner, thence southerly to beginning known as
OP Joy Drive and
WHEREAS, it is the sense of the Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that said request should he granted, now, therefore,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that permission is hereby granted to Paul
S. tiller to construct one (1) temporary concrete driveway in accordance
with the existing contour of the abutting land with the subjective
understanding and agreement between the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and the
said Paul S. miller that, should at a later date a Permanent formal
grade he established for sidewalk purposes or otherwise,__ that the said
Paul S. Mi 1 ler wi 1 l immediately thereafter, and at his own expense,
remove all or whatever portion of temporary concrete driveway he may
have constructed, and rebuild or reconstruct the same in accordance with
the permanent grade as may hereafter be set and established, the work to
he done under the supervision of the City Engineer.
RE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Deputy Clerk/Auditor is
authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this resolution
to the Black Hawk County Recorder for recording and for filing in order
that this said action may become a matter of official County Record.
Passed and adopted this 19th day of May, 1086.
