RESOLUTION NO. 1986-336
RESOLUTION DESIGNATING CERTAIN CITY-OWNED PROPERTY
FOR PUBLIC STREET PURPOSES IN SECTION 6, T89N, 13W,
IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the following legally described City-owned property be and the
same hereby dedicated for public street purposes :
All that part of the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast
Quarter, Section 6, Township 88 North, Range 13 West of the
Fifth Principal Meridian, Waterloo, Black Hawk County,
Iowa, lying within the following described boundary:
Beginning at a point on the Northerly line of the Northwest
Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 6, which
point is 100.00 feet easterly from the Northwest corner of
the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of said
Section 6; thence SO°06'48"W a distance of 1,069.31 feet,
along a line parallel with the Weterly line of the North-
west Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 6;
thence Southeasterly a distance of 259.10 feet along a
curve concave northeasterly having a radius of 686.62 feet
and a long chord of S10°41'50"E 257.56 feet, to a point on
the Southerly line of the Northwest Quarter of the South-
east Quarter of said Section 6, which point is 148.31 feet
easterly from the Southwest corner of the Northwest Quarter
of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 6; thence
N90°00'00"E a distance of 120.04 feet along the Southerly
line of the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of
said Section 6; thence northwesterly a distance of 261.64
feet along a curve concave northeasterly having a radius of
576.62 feet and a long chord of N12°53'08"W 259.40 feet;
thence NO°06'48"E a distance of 1,069.56 feet along a line
parallel with the Westerly line of the Northwest Quarter of
the Southeast Quarter of said Section 6, to a point on the
Northerly line of the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast
Quarter of said Section 6; thence S89°58' 51"W a distance of
110.00 feet along the Northerlyline of the Northwest
Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 6, to the
point of beginning.
The Westerly line of the Northwest Fractional Quarter of
said Section 6 is assumed to bear north and south.
Also
Beginning at a point on the Southerly line of the Northwest
Quarter of the Southeast Quarter which is 148.31 feet
easterly from the Southwest corner of the Northwest Quarter
of the Southeast Quarter of Section 6 Township 88 Range 13;
thence South 20 Degrees 30 Minutes east a distance of 130.8
feet: thence South 38 Degrees east to the Northwest line
of Chicago and Northwestern Railroad right-of-way; thence
northeasterly along said railroad right-of-way a distance
of 150 feet: thence northwesterly along a curve concave
northeasterly having a radius of 576.62 feet to a point on
the Southerly line of the Northwest Quarter of the South-
east Quarter that is 120.04 feet east of the point of
beginning; thence west to the point of beginning.
