=` r WHEREAS, The City of Waterloo, Iowa, has had all the parcels

WHEREAS, the acquisition of the hereinafter described

0- rn =C. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa, that the contract for the parcels hereinafter
described to sell the same to the City of Waterloo, Iowa, all of which
are situated in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, are
accepted and approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and
directed to execute the same in behalf of the City and to execute all
instruments necessary to consummate the agreement to purchase the
properties from the owners thereof, and the deeds for the conveyance of
the same are also accepted and approved and the City of Waterloo is
directed to pay for the properties and the incidental expenses necessary
to the consummation of the sales from City Funds.

DESCRIPTION
That part of the Southwest corner (SW 1/4) of the Southwest
Quarter of Section Eight (8), Township Eighty-Eight North
(T88N), Range Twelve West (R12W) of the Fifth Principal
Meridian, in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa,
described as follows:
Beginning at the Southeast Corner of said Southwest Quarter
(SW 1/4) of Southwest Quarter (SW 1/4) ; thence North at right
angles seventy-five (75.0) feet; thence West two hundred ninety
and forty-two hundredths (290.42) feet; thence south at right
angles seventy-five (75.0) feet to the South line of said
Southwest Quarter (SW 1/4) ; thence East two hundred ninety and
forty-two hundredths (290.42) feet to the point of beginning,
except the South thirty-three (33.0) feet thereof.
Area = 12,195 S.F. more or less.
Passed and adopted this 23rd day of June, 1986.
