That the bid of Allied Construction Company, Inc. , of Charles City,
00 'l owa, in the amount of $649,548.15 for Kimball Avenue from Morgan Road
`W o 'Bertch Avenue (M-6641(3)--81-07) described in the plans and
specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said project,
after public hearing on published notice required by law, be is hereby
accepted, the same being the lowest bid received for said work.
The Mayor and Clerk/Auditor are hereby directed to execute contract
with the said contractor for the construction of said improvements,
said contract not to be binding on the City until approved by the
Council .
Passed and approved this 2nd day of July, 1986.
