RESOLUTION NO. 1986-436
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE DEDICATION OF PROPERTY
FOR STREET PURPOSES FOR THE EXTENSION OF TEXAS
STREET.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that
the following described real estate be and the same hereby dedicated for
street purposes for the extension of Texas Street:
A parcel of land located in the SE1/4 of Section 36
T 89 R 13 W of the 5th Principal Meridian described
as follows:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the southerly
line of Lot 6 Garden Place Addition with the southwesterly
line of the Iowa Northern Railroad, thence westerly
along the southerly line of Lots 6 and 5 Garden Place
Addition to the point of intersection with a line
100 feet southwesterly of and parallel to the railroad,
thence northwesterly on a line 100 feet southwesterly
of and parallel to the Iowa Northern Railroad to a
point 228.3 feet northwesterly of the intersection of
said line with the northerly right-of-way line of
vacated Easton Ave. , thence N89°13-1/21F a distance of
109.2 feet to the Iowa Northern Railroad right-of-way,
thence southeasterly along said right-of-way to the
point of beginning.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk/Auditor be and the same hereby
instructed to file a copy of said resolution with the County Recorder.
Passed and adopted this 21st day of July, 1986.
