T TO DESTROY CERTAIN RECORDS AND PAPERS AS PROVIDED IN
"-' SECTION 372.13, PARAGRAPH 5, 1985 CODE OF IOWA.

WHEREAS, the Code of Iowa for 1985, under the provisions of
_ Chapter 372.13, Paragraph 5, provides upon order of the Council that
all 'records and papers, other than proceedings, ordinances, and
N :- instruments having to do with real estate and bond issues, may be
o destroyed, and

o 7iWHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, is desirous of
destroying certain records and papers dated prior to June 30, 1981,
o under the provisions of Chapter 372.13, Paragraph 5, and now,
• c therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
1 that the Clerk/Auditor of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and is hereby,
_._authorized and directed to destroy the following records as provided
under the provisions of Chapter 372.13, paragraph 5:

1. Application for Plumbing Permits prior to 1981 .
2. Permits for Plumbing, Gas and Drainage to 1981.
a' G 3. Clerk/Auditor Receipts prior to 1981.
c; 4. Application for Plumbing Licenses and the examinations of
applicants known to be deceased.
5. Gas Fitter Examinations of all Gas Fitters known to be
deceased.
6. Cancelled City Warrants as listed below:
a. December 1979 - January 1980
b. February - March, 1980
c. April - May, 1980
d. June - July, 1980
e. July - August, 1980
f. September - October, 1980
g. November - December, 1980
h. January - February, 1981
i . March - April , 1981
j. May - June, 1981
7. 1976 and 1977 Animal Control Monthly Billings from the Black
County Humane Society.
Passed and adopted this 28th day of July, 1986.
