4WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, is the owner of real property in the
7 City of Waterloo, Iowa, as described below, and
s ' WHEREAS, an offer to purchase said certain parcel of real property in the
:: sum of $1,809.00 plus costs has been made by Regent, Inc. , and
r, ' WHEREAS, a public hearing was held July 28, 1986 at 7:00 p.m. in the

ro Council Chambers in City Hall , Waterloo, Iowa, as provided by law, by the
Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on proposal to sell and convey
N , premises owned by the City of Waterloo, Iowa to Regent, Inc. , Waterloo,
Iowa, and

WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that sale and conveyance should
be made as proposed.
NOWJHEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA AS FOLLOWS:
1. The following described real property, as fully described in the
published notice in the Waterloo Courier on July 16, 1986, is not
presently needed and will not be needed in the foreseeable future for
municipal purposes and its ownership is serving no municipal purpose, and
2. That the offer of $1,809.00 and costs be, and it is hereby accepted
for real property described below:
Part of the SE 1/4, NW 1/4, SE 1/4 of Section 36-83-13,
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, described as follows:
Commencing at a point 30 feet South of and 100 feet West
of the Northeast corner of the Southeast 1/4, Northwest
1/4, Southeast 1/4 of said Section, thence South 270 feet;
thence East 67 feet; thence North 270 feet; thence West
67 feet to the point of beginning.
3. That the City of Waterloo, Iowa, convey said parcels of real
property to Regent, Inc. , by Quit Claim Deed.
4. That the Mayor and Clerk/Auditor are hereby authorized to execute
and deliver deeds to Regent, Inc.
5. That the Clerk/Auditor is authorized and directed to deliver said
deed of conveyance to Regent, Inc., upon receipt of the sum of $1,809.00
and costs.
