RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO PROCEED WITH THE
ACQUISITION OF 813 GALENA STREET FOR RIVERVIEW
BYPASS CHANNEL FLOOD CONTROL PURPOSES.

WHEREAS, Allie Anding is the owner of real estate known as 813 Galena
Street legally descibed as follows:

m c Lots Nos. Five (5), Six (6), Seven (7) and Eight
a m (8) in Block No. Twenty-six (26), in Riverview
m o Addition in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk

WHEREAS, the City has undertaken the Riverview Bypass Channel flood
control project, and
WHEREAS, said parcel is needed for future improvements in conjunction
with the Riverview Bypass Channel project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City proceed to purchase said real estate
from said owner at a cost not to exceed $25,000 for acquisition
relocation and actual moving expenses.
Passed and adopted this 18th day of August, 1986.
