RESOLUTION NO. 2024-594
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY MIKE FEREDAY HEATING
AND AIR CONDITIONING OF WATERLOO, IOWA, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $24,850.00, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
HANGAR NO. 4 IMPROVEMENTS - HVAC
REPLACEMENTS, IDOT CSVI FY-23 PROJECT, CONTRACT
NO. 4606.
WHEREAS, Mike Fereday Heating and Air Conditioning of Waterloo, Iowa, was
contracted under Contract No. 4606 to perform HVAC replacements for Hangar No. 4 as part of
the IDOT CSVI FY-23 Project; and
WHEREAS, all work has been completed in accordance with contract specifications and
requirements, totaling a project amount of $24,850.00; and
WHEREAS, inspections and evaluations conducted by City Engineering or an authorized
representative confirm that the work meets all stipulated standards and project objectives.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. The HVAC replacements for Hangar No. 4 under IDOT CSVI FY-23 Contract No.
4606 are hereby accepted as complete and satisfactory, with recognition of the quality work
performed by Mike Fereday Heating and Air Conditioning.
2. The city is authorized to process the final payment to Mike Fereday Heating and Air
Conditioning in the amount specified upon completion of any remaining administrative and
contractual obligations.
3. All records relevant to the project completion be appropriately documented and filed
by the relevant city department to maintain transparency and accountability.
4. This resolution shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
