RESOLUTION NO. 2024-608
RESOLUTION APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
AGREEMENT WITH IMPACT7G, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO
EXCEED $3,200.00, TO COMPLETE A PHASE I
ENVIRONMENTAL SITE ASSESSMENT FOR A VACANT
PROPERTY LOCATED SOUTHEAST OF 1907 BLACK HAWK
STREET, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo is dedicated to the sustainable development and
environmental management of its properties, requiring comprehensive assessments of potential
redevelopment areas; and
WHEREAS, the vacant property located southeast of 1907 Black Hawk Street has been
identified for potential development, necessitating a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment to
identify any environmental conditions of concern; and
WHEREAS, Impact7G is a reputable firm specializing in conducting Phase I Environmental
Site Assessments and has offered to carry out these services for an amount not to exceed $3,200.00;
and
WHEREAS, it is considered prudent and in the public interest for the City to approve this
agreement to ensure environmentally responsible redevelopment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. The Professional Services Agreement with Impact7G, in an amount not to
exceed $3,200.00, for the completion of a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment for the
property located southeast of 1907 Black Hawk Street is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said agreement.
3. This resolution shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
