RESOLUTION NO. 2024-593
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY HAWKEYE FLAT ROOF
SOLUTIONS OF MONROE, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$169,100.00, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE REPLACEMENT
OF CITY HALL ROOF PROJECT.
WHEREAS, Hawkeye Flat Roof Solutions of Monroe, Iowa, was contracted to perform
the roof replacement project for Waterloo City Hall; and
WHEREAS, all work has been completed in accordance with contract specifications and
requirements, totaling a project amount of $169,100.00; and
WHEREAS, inspections and evaluations conducted by City Engineering or an authorized
representative confirm that the work meets all stipulated standards and project objectives.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. The project for the replacement of the City Hall roof is hereby deemed complete and
satisfactory, with work accepted as performed by Hawkeye Flat Roof Solutions.
2. The city is authorized to process the final payment to Hawkeye Flat Roof Solutions in
the amount specified upon completion of any remaining administrative and contractual
obligations.
3. All records relevant to the project completion be appropriately documented and filed
by the relevant city department to maintain transparency and accountability.
4. This resolution shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
