WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, is the owner of real property in the

City of Waterloo, Iowa, as described below, and

2, WHEREAS, an offer to purchase said certain parcel of real property in the
F sum of $43.00 plus costs has been made by Dr. Patrick Collison, and

s :WHEREAS, public hearing was held September 2, 1986 at 7:00 p.m. in the
o Council Chambers in City Hall , Waterloo, Iowa, as provided by law, by the
Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on proposal to sell and convey
copremises owned by the City of Waterloo, Iowa to Dr. Patrick Collison,
i Waterloo, Iowa, and

WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that sale and conveyance should
be made as proposed.
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA AS FOLLOWS:
1. The following described real property, as fully described in the
published notice in the Waterloo Courier on August 22, 1986, us not
presently needed and will not be needed in the foreseeable future for
municipal purposes and its ownership is serving no municipal purpose, and
2. That the offer of $43.00 and costs be, and it is hereby accepted for
real property described below:
The portion of the public alley lying adjacent to Lot 58,
Prospect Place Addition to Waterloo, Black Hawk County,
Iowa described as follows:
Commencing at the northeast corner of said Lot 58, thence
southerly along the easterly line of Lot 58 a distance of
30 feet to the point of beginning, thence continuing southerly
along the extension of the previously described line a
distance of 30 feet to the northerly line of Maryland
Avenue, thence westerly a distance of 27.8 feet along
the northerly line of Maryland Avenue said point being
the most southeasterly corner of said Lot 58 to the
point of beginning all within the City of Waterloo,
Black Hawk County, Iowa.
3. That the City of Waterloo, Iowa, convey said parcels of real
property to Dr. Patrick Collison by Quit Claim Deed.
4. That the Mayor and Clerk/Auditor are hereby authorized to execute
and deliver deeds to Dr. Patrick Collison.
5. That the Clerk/Auditor is authorized and directed to deliver said
deed of conveyance to Dr. Patrick Collison upon receipt of the sum of
$43.00 and costs.
Passed and adopted this 2nd day of September, 1986.
