HomeMy WebLinkAbout1986-530-09.02.1986 RESOLUTION NO. 1986-530 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND APPROVING CERTAIN ACQUISITION, PERMANENT EASEMENT, AND TEMPORARY EASEMENT CONTRACTS TO SELL REAL PROPERTY TO THE CITY AND ACCEPTING AND APPROVING CERTAIN DEEDS AND EASEMENTS. WHEREAS, The City of Waterloo, Iowa, has had all the parcels described herein appraised and the fair market value or damage value ascertained, and WHEREAS, the Acquisition of the hereinafter described parcels is necessary to carry out the North Hackett Road and Niagara Drive Culvert Replacements Project, Contract 305, in connection with the Interstate Substitution Plan. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, that the Acquisition or Easement Contract for the parcels hereinafter described to sell the same to the City of Waterloo, Iowa, all of which are situated in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, are accepted and approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute the same in behalf of the City and to execute all instruments necessary to consummate the agreement to purchase the properties from the owners thereof, and the deeds, permanent easements, and temporary easements for the conveyance of the same are also accepted and approved and the City of Waterloo is directed to pay for the properties and the incidental expenses necessary to the consummation of the sales from City Funds.
