WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2479, as amended, Waterloo City Zoning
Ordinance requires that hard-surface parking is mandatory for all

commercial uses, and

WHEREASf, Joe Polk dba The Ribcage, 626 Broadway Street proposes to
operatercSouthwesterly of the intersection of Conger and Broadway
Street without regard to said requirements of the City Zoning
Ordinaces.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOG, IOWA, that Joe Polk dba The Ribcage, 626 Broadway Street be
and the -same hereby allowed to operate at said location until July 1,
1987, at which time the applicant agrees to bring said operation into
compliance with all ordinances of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said applicant shall at all times comply
with all law and rules set forth by the Iowa Food Service
Establishment Rules and the Black Hawk County Health Department for
the operation of said establishment.
Passed and adopted this 8th day of September, 1986.
