" WHEREAS, The City of Waterloo, Iowa, has had all the parcels
described herein appraised and the fair market value ascertained,

o CDF AND WHEREAS, the acquisition of the hereinafter described
parcels is necessary to carry out the Kimball Avenue Project in
.connection with the Interstate Substitution Plan.

co cc "1ct NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
r Of Waterloo, Iowa, that the contract for the parcels hereinafter
' d escribed to sell the same to the City of Waterloo, Iowa, all of
`o —l 'rwhich are situated in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa,
PIE, are accepted and approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized
4nd directed to execute the same in behalf of the City and to execute
intruments necessary to consummate the agreement to purchase the
; „properties from the owners thereof, and the deeds for the conveyance
r 'of the same are also accepted and approved and the City of Waterloo
c is directed to pay for the properties and the incidental expenses
necessary to the consummation of the sales from City Funds.

DESCRIPTION
R-O-W ACQUISITION
A part of the SW 1/4 of Section 35-89-13, Waterloo, Black
Hawk County, Iowa, described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the North R-O-W line of
Ridgeway Avenue and the East R-O-W line of Kimball Avenue;
thence N. 01° 45' 33" W. along said East R-O-W line a
distance of 15.00 feet; thence S. 46° 06' 37" E. a
distance of 21.45 feet to said North R-O-W line; thence S.
89° 32' 19" W. along said North R-O-W line a distance of
15.00 feet to the point of beginning.
The West line of the SW 1/4 of Section 35-89-13 is assumed
to bear N. 01° 45' 33" W.
Containing approximately 112 sq. ft.
Passed and adopted this 22nd day of September, 1986.
