RESOLUTION APPROVING AND PROVIDING FOR THE
EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE HOUSING
AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT CONTRACT NO .
B-86-MC-19-0008 BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF
WATERLOO AND THE U . S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING
AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo , Iowa filed a Statement of
Needs with the Department of Housing and Urban Development for
funding under Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of
1974, as amended .
WHEREAS , Funding for said Statement has been increased by the
Department of Housing and Urban Development in the amount of
$176,000 .
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Mayor is hereby authorized to
execute the Housing and Community Development Block Grant Contract
No. B-86-MC-19-0008 in three counterparts on behalf of the City of
Waterloo , and to forward said counterparts to the Department of
Housing and Urban Development .
Passed and adopted this 22nd day of September , 1986 .
