RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND APPROVING CERTAIN
DEED TO THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA
WHEREAS, it is necessary that the City of Waterloo, Iowa
obtain certain right-of-way hereinafter described in order to carry out
the local Flood Control Project, and

r. WHEREAS, the transfer of said land will be of no cost to the

m o NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WATERLOO, IOWA that the Deed for the property hereinafter described
-- f- is accepted and approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and
C'r r directed to execute all instruments necessary to consummate the sale.

o All that part of Lot 11, Block 6, Eighmey's Outlots, Waterloo,
e` Black Hawk County, Iowa, lying Southerly of a line which is
m described as follows:

Beginning at a point on the East line of said Lot 11, which
point is 60.85 feet South of the Northeast corner of said Lot
11; thence Southwesterly to a point on the West line of Lot 1,
in said Block 6, which point is 129.5 feet South of the
Northwest corner of said Lot 1.
and also
All that part of Lots 2, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14, Block 7,
Eighmey's Outlots, Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, lying
within the following described boundary:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of said Lot 13; thence South
along the East line of said Block 7 to a point which is 50
feet South of the Northeast corner of said Lot 10; thence
Northwesterly to a point on the West line of said Lot 10,
which point is 30 feet South of the Northwest corner of said
Lot 10; thence North to the Northwest corner of said Lot 13;
thence West to the Southwest corner of said Lot 2; thence
North to the Northwest corner of said Lot 2; thence East along
the North line of said Lot 2 a distance of 100 feet; thence
Southeasterly to a point on the East line of said Lot 2 which
point is 55 feet South of the Northeast corner of said Lot 2;
thence South along the East line of said Lot 2 a distance of 25
feet; thence Southeasterly to a point on the North line of said
