a WHEREAS, Midwest Outdoor Advertising, on behalf of Allied Construction
Company, Inc. , has proposed to construct two (2) off-premise outdoor
.. advertising signs in an area zoned "C-Z" Conditional Zoning and located
east and west of Alexandra Drive and south of San Marnan Drive and

' WHEREAS, a public hearing was waived by the City Council due to the
o insignificance of the nature of said amendment to the "C-Z" Conditional
Zoning and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said amendment to the
"C-Z" Conditional Zoning request should be approved as proposed,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, that the amendment to the "C-Z" Conditional Zoning
to allow the construction of two (2) off-premise outdoor and
advertising signs BY Midwest Outdoor Advertising on property located
east and west of Alexandra Drive and south of San Marnan Drive, be and
the same hereby approved.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of Waterloo, Iowa, this 20th day
of October, 1986 and approved by the Mayor on the 20th day of October,
1986.

RESOLUTION NO. 1986-602
A RESOLUTION GRANTING PERMISSION TO ROBERT B.
GUSTAFSON, AND AUTHORIZING CONSTRUCTION OF ONE (1)
TEMPORARY CONCRETE DRIVEWAY IRRESPECTIVE OF A LATTER
OFFICIAL GRADE.
RE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That,
WHEREAS, Robert 0. 7,ustaf son has made written aool i cat ion to
the City Council asking that he be authorized and permitted to
construct one (1) temporary concrete driveway without respect to a
permanent sidewalk grade when and if the same may he subsequently
set on Kenwood Park, Waterloo, Lot 350 known as 1737 Hawthorne!
and
WHEREAS, it is the sense of the Council of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, that said request should be granted, now,
therefore,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED tnat permission is hereby granted to
Robert B. Gustafson to construct one (I ) temporary concrete
driveway in accordance with the existing contour of tne abutting
land with the suhiective understanding and agreement between the
City of Waterloo, Iowa, and the said Robert B. Gustafson tnat,
should at a later date a permanent formal grade he established for
sidewalk purposes or otherwise, that the said Robert B. Gustafson
will immediately thereafter, and at his own expense, remove all or
whatever portion of temporary concrete driveway ne may nave
constructed, and rebuild or reconstruct the same in accordance
with tne permanent grade as may hereafter be set and establisned,
the work to be done under the supervision of the City Enninee,r.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk/Auditor is authorized
and directed to forward a certified copy of this resolution to the
Black Hawk County Recorder for recording and for filing in order
that this said action may become a matter of official County
Record.
