RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND APPROVING CERTAIN
ACQUISITION, PERMANENT EASMENT. AND TEMPORARY
EASEMENT CONTRACTS TO SELL REAL PROPERTY TO THE
CITY AND ACCEPTING AND APPROVING CERTAIN DEEDS
AND EASEMENTS.
WHEREAS, The City of Waterloo, Iowa, has had all the parcels
described herein appraised and the fair market value or damage value
ascertained, and
WHEREAS, the Acquisition of the hereinafter described parcels is
necessary to carry out the Ansborough Avenue Reconstruction Project in
connection with the Interstate Substitution Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, RE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, that the Acquisition or Easement Contract for the
parcels hereinafter described to sell the same to the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, all of which are situated in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk
County, Iowa, are accepted and approved and the Mayor and City Clerk
are authorized and directed to execute the same in behalf of the City
and to execute all instruments necessary to consummate the agreement to
purchase the properties from the owners thereof, and the deeds,
permanent easements, and temporary easements for the conveyance of the
same are also accepted and approved and the City of Waterloo is
directed to pay for the pronerties and the incidental expenses
necessary to the consummation of the sales from City Funds.
The subject parcels are:
PARCEL NO. 1300 - TOTAL ACQUISITION
A part of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of
Section No. Thirty-three (33), Township No. Eighty-nine (89)
North, Range No. Thirteen (13) West of the Fifth Principal
Meridian in Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, bounded as
follows:
Beginning at a point which is Thirty-three (33) feet north
of a point which is Thirty-three (33) feet west of the
Southeast corner of said Section (said point being the
intersection of the North line of Ridgeway Avenue with the
West line of Anshorough Avenue): thence north along the
West line of Ansborough Avenue a distance of One Hundred
Eleven and Four Tenths (111.4) feet- thence West parallel
with the South line of said Section a distance of Ninety-two
and Sixty-five Hundredths (92.65) felt- thence South parallel
with the East line of said Section a distance of One Hundred

ACQUISITION, PERMANENT EASMENT, AND TEMPORARY
EASEMENT CONTRACTS TO SELL REAL PROPERTY TO THE
CITY AND ACCEPTING AND APPROVING CERTAIN DEEDS
AND EASEMENTS.
WHEREAS, The City of Waterloo, Iowa, has had all the parcels
described herein appraised and the fair market value or damage value
ascertained, and
WHEREAS, the Acquisition of the hereinafter described parcels is
necessary to carry out the Ansborough Avenue Reconstruction Project in
connection with the Interstate Substitution Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, that the Acquisition or Easement Contract for the
parcels hereinafter described to sell the same to the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, all of which are situated in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk
County, Iowa, are accepted and approved and the Mayor and City Clerk
are authorized and directed to execute the same in behalf of the City
and to execute all instruments necessary to consummate the agreement to
purchase the properties from the owners thereof, and the deeds,
permanent easements, and temporary easements for the conveyance of the
same are also accepted and approved and the City of Waterloo is
directed to pay for the properties and the incidental expenses
necessary to the consummation of the sales from City Funds.
