' CONVEYING A PUBLIC ALLEY TO HERBERT B. KANOFSKY

WHEREAS, Herbert B. Kanofsky and Francis J . Kanof sky have paid to
the City of Waterloo, Iowa, the sum of Three Thousand Dollars
($3,000.00) as provided by Ordinance No. 2147 adopted on the 3rd day of
s: February, 1959, by the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and
a WHEREAS, the City has made diligent search for the Quit Claim Deed
co referred to above and has been unable to locate said Deed.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, as follows:

That the Quit Claim Deed dated November 17, 1986, whereby the City
of Waterloo conveys to Herbert B. Kanofsky and Francis J. Kanofsky
A part of Lot 4 in Block 13 in the Original Plat
on the East Side of the Cedar River in the City
' of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, described
as follows: Beginning at a point 10 feet
southeasterly from the northwest line of said Lot
4 and 10 feet northeast from the northeast line
of the southwest 22.5 feet of said Lot 4; thence
southeast parallel with and 10 feet from the
northest line of the southwest 22.5 feet of said
Lot 4 to the northwest line of the southeast 90
feet of said Lot 4; thence southwest parallel
with East Fourth Street 10 feet to the northeast
line of the southwest 22.5 feet of said Lot 4;
thence northwesterly along the northeasterly line
of the southwest 22.5 feet of said Lot 4 to a
point 10 feet southeasterly from the
northwesterly line of said Lot 4; thence
northeasterly 10 feet to the place of beginning,
be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of City of Waterloo, Iowa,
this 17th day of November, 1986.
