A RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING AND
NOTICEW BE GIVEN ON THE VACATION OF PORTION OF FLOOD
CONTROL. EASEMENT LOCATED WESTERLY OF AND OVER A PORTION
cx OF LOT 23, BROOKERIDGE ADDITION AND TRACT A OF SOUTHBROOKE

CHAMBERS, CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA AND INSTRUCTING THE CITY

BE IT RESOLVED`BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA AS FOLLOWS :
n Setlon 1 - That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
5' shal l peet at the City Hall in the City of Waterloo, Iowa at 7:00
p.m. , on the 5th day of January, 1987, for the purpose of considering
51 and acting upon a proposal to vacate portion of flood control easement
located westerly of and over a portion of Lot 23, Brookeridge Addition
and Tract A_of Southbrooke First Addition, described as follows:

& Part 'of Lot 23, Brookeridge and part of Tract A, Southbrooke,
all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, described
as follows:
`- Comenci ng at the Southwest corner of Lot 22, Brookeridge,
Waterloo, Iowa; thence N. 0°O1 'W. a distance of 10.00 feet;
thence N. 89°31 '11"E. a distance of 8.00 feet; thence
N. 0°01 'W. a distance of 145.00 feet; thence N. 41°18'44" E.
a distance of 80.46 feet; thence S. 89°31 'll"W. a distance
of 20.12 feet to the point of beginning; thence S. 89°31 'll"W.
a distance of 42.92 feet to the West line of said Lot 23;
thence S. 41°18'44"W. a distance of 80.46 feet; thence
N. 89°31 'll"E. a distance of 42.92 feet; thence N. 41°18 '44"E.
a distance of 80.46 feet to the point of beginning.
Section 2 - That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
Passed and adopted this 15th day of December, 1986.
