authorized agent of Waterloo -Cedar Falls Courier, a publication that
is a "legal newspaper" as that phrase is defined for the city of Cedar
Falls, for the County of Black Hawk, in the state of Iowa, that this

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
Notice is hereby given that on the 21st
day of October2024: at 5:30 p.m.. in
the Harold E. Getty Council Chambers
in the City Hall in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, a public hearing will be held by
the Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, to approve a request by David R.
and Mary H . Alderman for the sale and
colweyance of approximately 1,250
square feet of city -owned property
located adjacent to 4805 Ecbgebrook
Drive for $1.00: including a Develop-
ment Agreement , legally described
as follows:
Part of Tract A of Southland Park Sub-
division, City of Waterloo, Black Hawk
County, Iowa described as follows:
The ten (10) foot wide part of said
Tract A as platted Northwesterly of Lot
27 of said addition, Southeasterly of
Lot 28 of said addition, Northeasterly
of a line drawn from the Southwesterly
corner of Lot 28 said addition to the
Northwesterly corner of Lot 27 said
addition, and Southwesterly of a line
drawn from the Southeasterly corner
of Lot 28 said addition to the North-
easterly corner of Lot 27 said addition,
with the City's retention of an eight
8) foot wide utility easement lying
Southwesterly of and adjacent to the
most Northeasterly line of the above
described parcel.
Anyone who Is interested may appear
at said time and place and be heard or
may file written objection with the City
Clerk, City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa. before
the date set for said hearing.
