RESOLUTION NO. 2024-627
A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE APPROVAL OF
SPECIFICATIONS, BID DOCUMENTS, AND FORM OF
CONTRACT IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2025
PREFABRICATED SHELTER AT 170 IDAHO STREET FOR
THE MUNICIPAL TELECOMMUNICATIONS UTILITY
PROJECT, CONTRACT NO. 1112.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo intends to enhance its Municipal Telecommunications
Utility Project by installing a prefabricated shelter at 170 Idaho Street as part of Contract No.
1112; and
WHEREAS, detailed specifications have been established, comprehensive bid documents
have been prepared, and a standard form of contract has been drafted to guide the procurement
and installation process; and
WHEREAS, these documents are essential to ensure competitive bidding, adherence to
city standards, and the successful completion of the project as scheduled.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. The specifications, bid documents, and form of contract for the installation of the
prefabricated shelter are hereby confirmed and approved, ensuring alignment with the city's
infrastructure and utility goals.
2. The Public Works Department is authorized and instructed to proceed with the bidding
process and subsequent steps outlined within these documents to initiate and carry out the
project.
3. The administration and execution of this project shall be overseen in accordance with
city procurement guidelines and best practices to ensure quality outcomes and transparency.
4. This resolution shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
