c WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa at 7:00 p.m. on the 2nd day of March, 1987 for the
purpose of considering and acting upon an application of the City
of Waterloo to rezone from "U-1" Unclassified District and "C-2"
Commercial District to "M-1" Light Industrial District a parcel of
land generally located within a 15 block area generally bounded by
West 7th Street, West 15th Street, the Cedar River and Washington
Street and l;egal1, described as follows:

Beginning at the Cedar River and West Seventh Street: thence
easterly to West Fifteenth Street; thence southerly to Black
Hawk Street; thence westerly to West Twelfth Street; thence
southerly to Washington Street; thence westerly to West
Eleventh Street; thence northerly to Commercial Street;
thence westerly to West Ninth Street; thence southerly to
Jefferson Street; thence westerly to West Seventh Street;
thence northerly to the Cedar River.
now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA
that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the
time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
Passed and adopted this 16th day of February, 1987.
