u o C-WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, has
r�cuested that the Iowa Department of Management grant an appeal
it- thy City of Waterloo to exceed the $8.10 per one thousand
dalar valuation levy limit, and
== = WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo has been authorized by the
Iowa Department of Management to exceed this levy limit to a level
o -$.8.53 per one thousand dollar valuation, and
,
WHEREAS, the City Council has been given verbal approval to
extend the budgeting process past the March 15, 1987 deadline in
accordance with the State Code of Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the
City of Waterloo, Iowa, that Resolution No. 1987-82 adopted by the
Waterloo City Council on March 2, 1987, setting the date of public
hearing as March 2, 1987 on the proposed FY1988 Operating Budget
for the City of Waterloo be and the same hereby rescinded.
Passed and adopted this 9th day of March, 1987.
