HomeMy WebLinkAbout1987-123-03.23.1987 RESOLUTION NO. 1987-123 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND APPROVING CERTAIN rn m ,> Q ACQUISITION, PERMANENT EASEMENT, AND TEMPORARY ii'i EASEMENT CONTRACTS TO SELL REAL PROPERTY TO THE CITY O � N) m AND ACCEPTING AND APPROVING CERTAIN DEEDS AND EASEMENTS. err , m c - cP. t1.)C r • C71 DWHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, has had the parcel Faescribed herein appraised and the fair market value ascertained, (and WHEREAS, the acquisition of the hereinafter described parcel , s necessary to carry out the Donald Street Reconstruction Project gin connection with the Interestate Substitution Plan 1'IX-6662(2)--79-07) . cn u' , NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Acquisition or Easement Contract for the parcel hereinafter described to sell the same to the City of Waterloo, Iowa, all of which is situated in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, is accepted and approved and the Mayor Pro Tem and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute the same in behalf of the City and to execute all instruments necessary to consummate the agreement to purchase the properties from the owner thereof, and the deeds, permanent easements, and temporary easements for the conveyance of the same are also accepted and approved and the City of Waterloo is directed to pay for the properties and the incidental expenses necessary to the consummation of the sale from City funds. The subject parcel is: Parcel No. 937 - Donald J. and Janet M. Laures The Northerly 20 feet in even width of the Southerly 53 feet in even width of the Southeast 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section No. 12, Township No. 89 North, Range No. 13 West of the 5th Principal Meridian in Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, excepting the Westerly 510 feet thereof and the Easterly 573 feet thereof.
