RESOLUTION APPROVING COURT ORDER IN CITY OF WATERLOO,

IOWA PLAINTIFF V.
LAWRENCE SEALS, JR. , DBA SEALS
CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, 710 LOGAN AVENUE, DEFENDANT,
o EQUITY NO. 68694, AND ALLOWING THE DEFENDANT A THIRTY
(30) DAY EXTENSION ON SAID COURT ORDER.

WHEREAS, on March 20, 1987, Court Order No. 68694 was issued
against Lawrence Seals, Jr. , concerning the nuisance caused by
garbage and trucks at 710 Logan Avenue, City of Waterloo, Black
Hawk County, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, said Court Order declares said property a public
nuisance, and
WHEREAS, said Order orders the removal of any and all
equipment, garbage, etc. from said premises by the City of
Waterloo and to assess the costs of said clean up against said
property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that said Court Order be approved and that
Mr. Lawrence Seals , Jr. be given a thirty ( 30) day extension on
said Order.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO that the staff be instructed to report back to the
Council on April 27, 1987 on the progress to date of the clean up
of said property.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 13th day of April, 1987.
