RESOLUTION NO. 2011-657
RESOLUTION APPROVING FEDERAL VIOLENCE AGAINST
WOMEN ACT CONTRACT WITH DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE
CRIME VICTIM ASSISTANCE DIVISION AND
DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID CONTRACT BY
MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Federal Violence Against Women Act Contract dated July
11, 2011, in the amount of $35,223.00, with a required city match
of $11,741.00, for funding the Police Department Domestic Abuse
Response Team (DART) Program, providing salary and benefits for
one full-time DART investigator, for the period July 1, 2011 to
June 30, 2012, by and between the Department of Justice Crime
Victim Assistance Division and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and
the same is hereby approved, and the Mayor authorized to execute
the same in behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 11th day of July, 2011.
