=x) c rF NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE SALE AND CONVEYANCE OF REAL
PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED NORTH OF EASTON AVENUE AND
J HV" EAST OF I-380, AS MAY 4, 1987, AT 7: 00 P.M. IN THE CITY
HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS IN WATERLOO, IOWA AND INSTRUCTING
- THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF HEARING.
• -, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
as follows:
Section 1 . That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
shall meet in the City Hall Council Chambers in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa at 7: 00 p.m. on the 4th day of May, 1987 , for the
purpose of considering and acting upon a proposal to sell and
convey a portion of real property to David J. Hershberger
generally located north of Easton Avenue and east of I-380 owned
by the City of Waterloo, Iowa, described as follows:
,T Beginning at the point of intersection of the northerly line
of vacated Easton Avenue with the easterly line of I-380 ,
thence N 89° 13 ' 30" E along the northerly line of vacated
Easton Avenue 527. 86 ' thence N 21° 18 ' 49" W 228 . 3 ' along a
line 100 feet southwesterly of and parallel with the Iowa
Northern Railroad, thence westerly parallel to the northerly
line of vacated Easton Avenue a distance of 531 . 64 ' to the
easterly line of I-380 , thence S 19° 13 ' 29" W 178 . 4 ' along
; said easterly line, thence S 32° 22 ' 10" W 52 . 32 feet to
' point of beginning. Also, that portion of the 66 foot
right-of-way of vacated Easton Avenue lying east of I-380 and
westerly of a line 100 foot southwesterly of and parallel to
the westerly line of Iowa Northern Railway.
The above described property is subject to a Sanitary Sewer
Easement described as follows:
Commencing at the point of intersection of the northerly line
of vacated Easton Avenue and the easterly line of I-380 ,
thence N 89° 13 ' 30" E 341 . 53 feet to the point of beginning,
thence S 21° 10 ' E to the centerline of vacated Easton Avenue
thence south perpendicular to the right-of-way of vacated
Easton Avenue 33 feet to the south line of vacated Easton
Avenue, thence N 89° 13 ' 30" E 43 . 17 feet, along said line,
thence north perpendicular to the last described course 33 '
to the centerline of vacated Easton Avenue, thence N 21° 10 '
W to the north line of vacated Easton Avenue, thence continu-
ing on the last described course a distance of 228 . 3 feet,
thence S 89° 13 ' 30" W 43 . 17 feet, thence S 21° 10 ' E to the
point of beginning.
Also, a public utility easement described as follows:
The Northerly 20 feet of vacated Easton Avenue lying easterly
of I-380 and westerly of a line 100 feet westerly of and
parallel to the westerly line of the Iowa Northern Railroad.
Section 2 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
