HomeMy WebLinkAbout1987-179-04.20.1987 RESOLUTION NO. 1987-179 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND APPROVING CERTAIN ACQUISITION CONTRACTS TO SELL REAL PROPERTY TO THE CITY AND ACCEPT- ING AND APPROVING CERTAIN DEEDS (FY 1987 W.C.F. & N. DRIVE PAVING PROJECT, PHASES 1 AND 2 , CONTRACT NO. 297) . WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, has had all the parcels described herein appraised and the fair market value ascertained, and WHEREAS, the acquisition of the hereinafter described parcels are necessary to carry out the FY 1987 W.C.F. & N. Drive Paving Project, Phases 1 and 2 , Contract No. 297 in connection with this RISE Project. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA that the contract for the parcels hereinaf- ter described to sell the same to the City of Waterloo, Iowa, all of which are situated in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, are accepted and approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute the same in behalf of the City and to execute all instruments necessary to consummate the agree- ment to purchase the properties from the owners thereof, and the deeds for the conveyance of the same are also accepted and ap- proved and the City of Waterloo is directed to pay for the proper- ties and the incidental expenses necessary to the consummation of the sales from City funds.
