RESOLUTION APPROVING PETITION FOR SUSPENSION OF TAXES
ASSESSED AGAINST 1604 GARDEN AVENUE.
WHEREAS, Harriet Walker is titleholder of property at 1604
Garden Avenue and legally described as Lot 29 , Meadowdale Second
Filing, City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, and
co
— WHEREAS, Harriet Walker petitions the City Council of the
City of Waterloo, Iowa to suspend the collection of taxes assessed
against her for reasons of inability to contribute to the public
revenue, and
WHEREAS, Section 427 , Code of Iowa authorizes the suspension
of taxes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that current years delinquencies, as
authorized in Section 427 , Code of Iowa, be and the same hereby
suspended.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk/Auditor be instructed
to transmit a copy of said Resolution to the Black Hawk County
Board of Supervisors.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of June, 1987 .
