RESOLUTION APPROVING THE QUIT CLAIM DEED CONVEYING A
PUBLIC ALLEY TO HERBERT B. KANOFSKY AND FRANCIS J.
KANOFSKY.
WHEREAS, Herbert B. Kanofsky and Francis J. Kanofsky have
paid to the City of Waterloo, Iowa, the sum of One Dollar ( $1 . 00)
as provided by Resolution No. 11539 adopted on the 12th day of
November, 1952 , by the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, the City has made diligent search for the Quit Claim
Deed referred to above and has been unable to locate said Deed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, as follows:
That the Quit Claim Deed dated June 15 , 1987, whereby the
City of Waterloo conveys to Herbert B. Kanofsky and Francis J.
Kanofsky the following real property legally described as:
The Northwesterly 10 feet of the Southeasterly 90 feet of the
Northeasterly 37-1/2 feet of Lot 4 in Block No. 13 in the
Original Plat on the East side of the Cedar River in the City
of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa,
be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, this 15th day of June, 1987 .

in hand paid do hereby Quit Claim unto Herbert B. Kanofsky and Francis J. Kanofsky
Grantees' Address: 1325 Prospect Boulevard. Waterloo, Iowa
all our right, title, interest, estate, claim and demand in the following described real estate situated in
Black Hawk County, Iowa, to-wit:
The Northwesterly 10 feet of the Southeasterly 90 feet of the Northeasterly
372 feet of Lot 4 in Block No. 13 in the Original Plat on the East side of the
Cedar River in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa
Exempt from declaration of value and revenue as per Iowa Code
Section 428A. 2 (6) .
Each of the undersigned hereby relinquishes all righ+s of dower, homestead and distributive share in and to the
above described premises.
Words and phrases herein, including acknowledgment hereof, shall be construed as in the singular or plural number, and as masculine,
feminine or neuter gender, according to the context.

City of Waterloo, Iowa; that the seal affixed to the foregoing instrument is the corporate
seal of the corporation, and that the instrument was signed and sealed on behalf of
the corporation, by authority of its City Council , as contained in 011dimxtuedtaxxxxxxxxx
