BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
as follows:
Section 1 . That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
shall meet at the City Hall Council Chambers in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa at 7 : 00 p.m. , on the 8th day of September, 1987 ,
for the purpose of considering and acting upon a proposal to
vacate a portion of Glendale Street from Dewar Street south to the
Cedar River owned by the City of Waterloo, Iowa, described as
follows:
0 ; All that part of Glendale Street located between Block 6 and
, 7 of Eighmey' s Outlots in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk
County, Iowa;
and sell, and convey the following legally described property to
National- By Products:
All that part of vacated Glendale Street located between
Blocks 6 and 7 of Eighmey' s Outlots, Waterloo, Black Hawk
;County, Iowa, described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeasterly corner of Lot 8 of said Block
6 ; thence Southeasterly to a point on the westerly line of
Lot 4 of said Block 7 , which point is 90 . 00 feet northerly
from the southwesterly corner of Lot 4 of said Block 7;
thence southerly along the westerly line of Lot 4 and Lot 5
of said Block 7 to a point which is 55 . 00 feet northerly from
the southwesterly corner of Lot 5 of said Block 7; thence
Northwesterly to a point on the easterly line of Lot 7 of
said Block 6, which point is 77 . 00 feet southerly from the
northeasterly corner of Lot 7 of said Block 6 ; thence
northerly along the easterly line of Lot 7 and Lot 8 of said
Block 6 to the point of beginning.
Containing approximately 10 , 300 S.F.
Section 2 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of August, 1987 .
