RESOLUTION NO. 2011-664
RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE
VACATION OF A UTILITY EASEMENT ON PARCEL A,
GENERALLY LOCATED NORTHEAST OF 4230 HARBIN
DRIVE, AS JULY 25, 2011, AT 5:30 P.M. IN CITY
HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS, WATERLOO, IOWA, AND
INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE
NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 25th day of July, 2011, for the purpose
of considering and acting upon a proposal to vacate a utility
easement on Parcel A, generally located northeast of 4230 Harbin
Drive, and legally described as follows:
The Southeasterly 145.28 feet in even width of the
Northeasterly Ten (10) feet in even width of Parcel "A"
of the Northwest Quarter (NW1/4) of Section Eight (8),
Township Eighty-eight North (T88N), Range Thirteen West
(R13W) of the Fifth Principal Meridian, City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, as said Parcel "A"
is shown on that plat of survey as recorded in Misc.
Book 338 Page 970, Black Hawk County Recorder's Office,
all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to
publish notice of the time and place of said hearing in the
Waterloo Courier.
