s `. MANAGING AGENT, THE WATERLOO CHAMBER OF COMMERCE TO MAKE
' - APPLICATION TO THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN
DEVELOPMENT (HUD) FOR TWENTY-ONE ( 21) UNITS OF SECTION 8
HOUSING VOUCHERS.

WHEREAS, the Waterloo Housing Authority has conducted a
public hearing on September 28 , 1987 regarding this application,
WHEREAS, no written or oral objections to the application
were filed or submitted prior to or at the Public Hearing,
WHEREAS, the Waterloo Housing Authority was instructed by
U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to apply for
twenty-one ( 21 ) units of Section 8 Housing Vouchers,
WHEREAS, the Waterloo Housing Authority has been advised in
contacts from the Department of Housing and Urban Development that
the Authority could apply for no more than twenty-one ( 21 ) units
of Section 8 Housing Rental Rehabilitation Vouchers,
WHEREAS, the application is consistent with the needs and
objectives of the Housing Assistance Plans of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Waterloo, Iowa, that majority approval of the proposed
program within its jurisdiction be granted based upon the
requirements of Section 403A. 5 of the Iowa Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that submission of an application for a
total of twenty-one ( 21) units of Section 8 Rental Rehabilitation
Housing Vouchers is hereby approved and adopted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 28th day of September, 1987 , approved
by the Mayor this 30th day of September, 1987 .
