RESOLUTION MAKING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO CRESCENT ELECTRIC
SUPPLY CO. OF WATERLOO, IOWA, FOR TRAFFIC SIGNAL POLES
AND MAST ARMS FOR CHANGEOVER OF JEFFERS;)N STREET FROM
ONE-WAY TRAFFIC TO TWO-WAY TRAFFIC, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$6 , 555 . 00 .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of Crescent Electric Supply Co. of Waterloo,
Iowa, in the amount of $6, 555. 00 , for the construction of the
traffic signal poles and mast arms for changeover of Jefferson
Street from one-way traffic to two-way traffic, described in the
plans and specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for
said project, after public hearing on published notice required by
law, be and is hereby accepted, the same being the lowest bid
received for said work.
The Mayor and Clerk are hereby directed to execute contract
with the said contractor for the construction of said
improvements, said contract not to be binding on the City until
approved by this Council.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of October, 1987 .
