s " RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR ESSENTIAL AIR
oO H SERVICE TERMINAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (EASTIP) FUNDS.

H 0 WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa desires to apply for
c.) EASTIP funds to accomplish certain improvements at the Waterloo
f Airport consisting of:

s ca0 1. Expansion and improvement of office and storage areas
H • s and counter space available to commercial airlines;

2 . Remodeling and repair of facilities to enhance safety
n ~ and comfort of the traveling public;

c 3 . Construction and improvement of baggage handling
s facilities and boarding gates;

O 4 . Installation of new equipment to enhance safety and
comfort of passengers or increase efficiency of
tt operations.

s C WHEREAT the Cityof Waterloo, Iowa endorses said
project and
; 'commits funds for the local matching share; and
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa agrees to maintain
improvements funded by EASTIP.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that on the 5th day of
October, 1987 , the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa did
authorize the Mayor and City Clerk/Auditor to sign the application
for an EASTIP project on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of October, 1987 .
