RESOLUTION MAKING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO K & W ELECTRIC OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, FOR POC-8155 ( 1) PETROLEUM OVERCHARGE
FUNDS GRANT FOR INSTALLATION OF TRAFFIC SIGNAL CONTROL
SYSTEM ON U.S. 218 , CONTRACT NO. 337 , IN THE AMOUNT OF
$80, 000 . 00.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of K & W Electric of Waterloo, Iowa, in the
amount of $80, 000 , 00, for the installation of the traffic signal
control system on U.S. 218 , Contract No. 337 , described in the
plans and specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for
said project, after public hearing on published notice required by
law, be and is hereby accepted, the same being the lowest bid
received for said work.
The Mayor and Clerk are hereby directed to execute contract
with the said contractor for the construction of said
improvements, said contract not to be binding on the City until
approved by this Council.
