O r? RESOLUTION TEMPORARILY CLOSING BLUFF STREET IN
CONJUNCTION WITH RELOCATED U.S. 218 PROJECT IN THE CITY
H OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, has
adopted Ordinance No. 3441 on June 9 , 1986 , an Ordinance amending
the Traffic Code by adding Subsection 102 , Temporary Traffic Sign
Signals and Markings, and
WHEREAS, said ordinance allows temporary changes in traffic
patterns by Council resolution when reasonably necessary because
of construction, reconstruction, maintenance, safety or natural
disaster, and the posting of signs indicating said changes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that Bluff Street be temporarily closed
from the intersection of West Eleventh Street with Bluff Street
and proceeding southeast along Bluff Street for forty ( 40 ) feet in
conjunction with Relocated U.S. 218 Project.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of October, 1987 .
