BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
shall meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, at 7 : 00 p.m. on the 14th day of December, 1987 ,
for the purpose of considering and acting upon the request of the
Iowa Department of Transportation to vacate, sell and convey a
portion of Greenwood Avenue to Roger Moore and Niles Naaktgeboren
aka Niles Naaktgeborn, legally described as follows:
A parcel of land consisting of part of Greenwood Avenue, as
now located, lying between Lots 51 and 63 of Burd' s
Subdivision of Sherwood Park a subdivision in Sec 16 and 21
T89N, R13W of the 5th P.M. Black Hawk County, Iowa, described
as follows: Commencing at the south corner of said Lot 63 ;
thence N48°17-1/2 ' E 132 . 0 ft. along the southeasterly line of
said Lot 63 ; thence N24°16-1/2 'W 45 . 4 ft. to the point of
beginning; thence N57°41-1/2 'W 118 . 0 ft. along the southerly
line of Greenwood Avenue as now located; thence N 14°04-1/2E
52. 6 ft. ; thence S57°41-1/2 ' E 58 . 7 ft. along the northerly
line of Greenwood Avenue as now located; thence S24°16-1/2 ° E
90 . 8 ft. to the point of beginning containing 4417 sq. ft.
Section 2 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of November, 1987 .
