RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CLERK/AUDITOR
ill TO DESTROY CERTAIN CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE TAPES AND
OR; MISCELLANEOUS OTHERS AS PROVIDED IN SECTION 372 . 13 ,

WHEREAS, the Code of Iowa for 1987, under the provisions of
m Chapter 372. 13 , Paragraph 5, provides upon order of the Council
; that all records and papers, other than proceedings ordinances
and instruments having to do with real estate and bond issues,
may be destroyed, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, is
desirous of destroying certain City Council Committee tapes and
miscellaneous other tapes dated prior to September 1985 , under the
provisions of Chapter 372 . 13 , Paragraph 5 , and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Clerk/Auditor of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, be and is hereby authorized and directed to
destroy the following City Council Committee tapes and
miscellaneous other tapes as provided under the provisions of
Chapter 372 . 13 , paragraph 5 :
Public Works Committee tapes 4/27/83 to 9/1/85
Finance Committee tapes 1/3/84 to 9/1/85
All Conference Meeting tape 4/19/85
Economic Development Committee tapes 3/1/85 to 10/7/85
Housing Committee tape 6/14/85
Boards and Commissions tapes 9/4/84 to 9/1/85
Safety Committee tapes 4/1/81 to 9/1/85
Mayor ' s Blue Ribbon Committee tapes 1/26/84 to 9/1/85
Fire Protection tapes 6/24/83 to 9/1/85
Foreign Trade Zone tape 12/9/85
Labor Management Committee tape 8/14/84
