HomeMy WebLinkAbout1988-007-01.11.1988 RESOLUTION NO. 1988-7 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND APPROVING CERTAIN ACQUISITION, PERMANENT AND TEMPORARY EASEMENT CONTRACTS TO SELL REAL PROPERTY TO THE CITY AND ACCEPTING AND APPROVING CERTAIN DEEDS. WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, has had all the parcels described herein appraised and the fair market value ascertained, and WHEREAS, the acquisition of the hereinafter described parcels is necessary to carry out the Ansborough Avenue Reconstruction Project in connection with the Interstate Substitution Plan. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the contract for the parcels hereinafter described to sell the same to the City of Waterloo, Iowa, all of which are situated in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, are accepted and approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute the same in behalf of the City and to execute all instruments necessary to consummate the agreement to purchase the properties from the owners thereof, and the deeds for the conveyance of the same are also accepted and approved and the City of Waterloo is directed to pay for the properties and the incidental expenses necessary to the consummation of the sales from City funds. The subject parcels are: Parcel No. 1105 - 1105 Ansborough Avenue Hagerman Place, Lot 2 , Block 24 , Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa. Parcel No. 1121 - 1121 Ansborough Avenue Lot No. Six ( 6) in Block No. Twenty-four ( 24) in Hagerman Place, in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa. Containing approximately 5, 000 S.F. Parcel No. 1127 - 1127 Ansborough Avenue Hagerman Place, Lot 7, Block 24, Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa. PASSED AND ADOPTED this llth day of January, 1988. 13-V1116camL .1 Bernard L.
