HomeMy WebLinkAbout1988-110-03.14.1988 `1 t i t"i /' CD o t J a s `^' RESOLUTION NO. 19 8 8-11 0 E- E-1t'1EH < H H r1 y- O OH RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND APPROVING CERTAIN ACQUISITION, s ‹ bL,i PERMANENT AND TEMPORARY EASEMENT CONTRACTS TO SELL REAL < S < PROPERTY TO THE CITY AND ACCEPTING AND APPROVING CERTAIN n • n DEEDS AND EASEMENTS. tT tri ti + -1 E ' theWHEREPS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, has had all the parcels described herein appraised and the fair market value ascertained, and WHEREAS, the acquisition of the hereinafter described parcels is necessary to carry out the Sixth Street Extension Project, IX-6604( 2 ) --79-07 , in connection with the Interstate Substitution Plan. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the contract for the parcels hereinafter described to sell the same to the City of Waterloo, Iowa, all of which are situated in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, are accepted and approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute the same in behalf of the City and to execute all instruments necessary to consummate the agreement to purchase the properties from the owners thereof, and the deeds for the conveyance of the same and also accepted and approved and the City of Waterloo is directed to pay for the properties and the incidental expenses necessary to the consummate of the sales from City Funds. The subject parcels are: Parcel No. 203 - Claude Hicks and Mernell Dobbins, Owners Woodbine Addition, City of Waterloo, the South 80 feet of Lot 15, Block 2 and a strip 3 feet wide adjacent to same on West, and Beverly Place Repiat, the south 43 feet, of Lot 7, in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa. Parcel No. 613 - Mary Welbes, Owner Millers Addition, the Northwest 30 feet, Southeast 90 feet , Southwest 123 feet of Lots 4 and 5 . in Block 5 , all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa. Parcel No. 614 -- Elmer R. Underwood, Owner Lot No. Eleven ( 11 ) , Block No. Two ( 2 ) , in Woodbine Addition, in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa. Parcel No. 727 - Allen Grote and Cindy Blow, Owners Does Addition, Southeast 10 feet of the Southwest 69 feet of Lot 9 , Block 18 , and the Northwest 30 feet of the Southwest 69 feet of Lot 10 , Block 18, in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
