RESOLUTION RESCINDING ASSESSMENTS OF THREE
STREETS/ALLEYS CONTAINED WITHIN THE FY 1988 OILING
PROGRAM, CONTRACT NO. 327.
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 1988-92 was adopted by the Waterloo
City Council on March 7, 1988 , and
WHEREAS, said Resolution adopted and levied final schedule of
assessments, and provided for the payment thereof, in conjunction
with the FY 1988 Oiling Program, Contract No. 327 , and
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to cancel assessments on
three roadways contained within said program since the final
construction costs exceeded the proposed construction costs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that Resolution No. 1988-92 be amended by
rescinding assessments on the following named streets:
Zuma Street from Kahier Avenue to Lafayette Street
Alley between Evergreen and Magnolia, University to Janney
Alley between Kingsley and Campbell from Clough to Euclid.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of March, 1988 .
