ELECTRIC CO. FOR TEMPORARY PLACEMENT OF SIGNS ON CITY
RIGHT-OF-WAY GENERALLY LOCATED ON JEFFERSON STREET AT

WHEREAS, Standard Battery & Electric Co. , has proposed that
the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, approve a request for
temporary placement of signs on City right-of-way generally
located on Jefferson Street at 9th, llth, 12th, and 18th streets
and one sign on 12th street at the alley between Jefferson Street
and Bluff Street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Standard Battery &
Electric Co. for temporary placement of signs on City right-of-way
generally located on Jefferson Street at 9th, llth, 12th, and 18th
Streets and one sign on 12th Street at the alley between Jefferson
Street and Bluff Street in conjunction with Relocated Highway 218 ,
IX-218-7( 80 ) --3P-07, be and the same is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Indemnity Agreement by and
between Standard Battery & Electric Co. and the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, be and the same hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of April, 1988, and approved
by the Mayor on this 6th day of April, 1988 .
