RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MODIFICATION OF STREET
LIGHTING ON KIMBALL AVENUE, IX-6641( 4 ) -79-07, IN THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that street lighting on Kimball Avenue from San Marnan to Ridgeway
Avenue be modified as follows:
1. Install one HPS ( 100 watt) at the northeast corner of
San Marnan Drive Frontage Road ( south of Brookeridge) ;
2 . Remove the mid block light at the south end of Shakey' s
parking lot (east side between Brookeridge and Frontage
Road) .
3 . Replace the existing lamp on southwest corner of
Brookeridge Drive with 100 watt HPS.
4. Install one HPS ( 100 watt) at the northeast corner of
Brookeridge Drive.
5. Remove the light at Rachael on east side of Kimball.
6. Install one HPS ( 100 watt) on the southwest corner of
Rachael and Kimball intersection.
7. Remove the light on east side of Kimball Avenue near the
access road entrance south of Park Lane.
8. Install one HPS ( 100 watt) at the southwest corner of
access road entrance south of Park Lane.
9. Replace the lamp on the light at the southeast corner of
Park Lane with 100 watt HPS lamp.
10 . Install one HPS ( 100 watt) at the northwest corner of
Park Land/Kimball intersection.
11. Install one HPS ( 100 watt) at the southwest corner
Frontage Road entrance north of Park Lane.
NOTE: All mast arms shall be 16 ft.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk/Auditor be, and
he is hereby ordered to certify a copy of this resolution to 1.owa
Public Service Company of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of April, 1988.
