RESOLUTION OF THE WATERLOO CITY COUNCIL CONCERNING
PROCEEDINGS RELATING TO THE HEARING AND DISCIPLINARY
ACTION AGAINST RICHARD HARTLEY, STREET DEPARTMENT
EMPLOYEE.
WHEREAS, the Waterloo City Council has conducted proceedings
relating to the action taken by the Public Works Director on
February 26 , 1988 , which resulted in the termination of Richard
Hartley, Assistant Superintendent of Streets for the City of
Waterloo, Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, the following findings:
1. That the Council is not convinced that a pre-termination
hearing was held in regard to Mr. Hartley' s termination.
2. That Mr. Hartley be suspended for 75 days from the date
of February 26, 1988 with pay.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of May, 1988.
