RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND APPROVING CERTAIN ACQUISITION,
PERMANENT AND TEMPORARY EASEMENT CONTRACTS TO SELL REAL
PROPERTY TO THE CITY AND ACCEPTING AND APPROVING CERTAIN
DEEDS AND EASEMENTS.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, has had all the parcels
described herein appraised and the fair market value ascertained,
and
WHEREAS, the acquisition of the hereinafter described parcels
is necessary to carry out the Ansborough Avenue Reconstruction
Project in connection with the Interstate Substitution Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the contract for the parcels
hereinafter described to sell the same to the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, all of which are situated in the City of Waterloo, Black
Hawk County, Iowa, are accepted and approved and the Mayor and
City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute the same in
behalf of the City and to execute all instruments necessary to
consummate the agreement to purchase the properties from the
owners thereof , and the deeds for the conveyance of the same are
also accepted and approved and the City of Waterloo is directed to
pay for the properties and the incidental expenses necessary to
the consummation of the sales from City funds.
The subject parcels are:
Parcel No. 4 - Total Acquisition
Harry D. Springer, Owner
Lot No. Five ( 5 ) in Block No. Twenty-four ( 24 ) in Hagerman
Place, in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
Parcel No. 6 - Total Acquisition
Harvey T. and Donna L. Kephart, Owners
Lot No. Three ( 3 ) in Block No. Twenty-four ( 24) in Hagerman
Place in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
Parcel No. 9 - Total Acquisition
J.C.R. Property Management, Inc.
Lot No. Fifteen (15) in Block No. Nine ( 9) in Hagerman Place
in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
Parcel No. 10 - Total Acquisition
Edward S. and Alma M. Burke, Owners
Lot No. Fourteen (14) in Block No. Nine ( 9) in Hagerman Place
in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
Parcel No. 13 - Total Acquisition
Beth A. Titus, Owner
Lot No. Eleven ( 11) in Block No. Nine ( 9) in Hagerman Place
in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
