to () RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A GRANT
O AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, THE
• E STATE OF IOWA DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND
Sri DAWSON FOUNDRY, INC.

WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, has submitted an
- application for Community Economic Betterment Account funds on
behalf of Dawson Foundry, Inc. ; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Economic Development has approved
and funded said CEBA application in the amount of $200, 000. 00; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the Mayor to execute a Grant
Agreement between the City, the State, and Dawson Foundry, Inc. ,
setting forth terms of the grant.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Mayor is authorized and directed
to execute the Agreement between the City of Waterloo, the State
of Iowa, and Dawson Foundry, Inc. and that all necessary documents
shall be prepared to administer the grant.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9th day of May, 1988.
