RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE REMOVAL OF THE TRAFFIC
o t" CONTROL SIGNAL AT THE INTERSECTION OF VINTON AND
Hc` SYCAMORE STREETS IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA..
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on June 6 , 1988 , at 7: 00
p.m. in the Waterloo City Hall Council Chambers, as provided by
law, by the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on the proposal
to remove the traffic control signals at the intersection of
Vinton and Sycamore Streets, and
WHEREAS, said intersection does not warrant a traffic signal
based on traffic volumes and standards, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said removal
should be approved as proposed,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the traffic control signals located
at the intersection of Vinton and Sycamore Streets, be and the
same hereby approved, and the City Attorney instructed to prepare
an ordinance accordingly.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of June, 1988, and approved
by the Mayor the 8th day of June, 1988 .
